Payment is due at the time services are rendered. If you have any special considerations regarding payment, please discuss this with the receptionist prior to seeing the doctor. We accept a variety of payment options, including cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, CareCredit, and ScratchPay.

Prescription Policy Update - January 2025
We now have our own online pharmacy! We’d like to invite you to purchase your prescription food and medications directly through Mountain Avenue Animal Hospital’s online pharmacy. Our pharmacy offers the same convenience as a larger online retailer but allows our team to access your pet’s medical records quicker and can assist with placing orders directly, ensuring we can continue to provide the best care to your pet, every step of the way. Our pricing is very competitive, and in some instances, lower pricing than other online retailers. You will also be able to continue to utilize rebates and instant savings offers directly from the manufacturers.
Most importantly, by processing prescriptions through our online pharmacy we are able to guarantee the medical integrity of the products sold vs those sold on other websites. Our store will provide a direct link between our hospital and our clients, making it easier to communicate requests and eliminating any confusion with refills.
Your pet’s care is our top priority and therefore, for their safety, we will no longer be directly approving prescriptions (via phone or FAX). Should you wish to continue to use an external pharmacy for future prescriptions, our team will be happy to provide you with a written prescription, available for pick up, to use at a pharmacy of your choosing. Please keep in mind that it will take up to 2 weeks for online pharmacy mail-in prescriptions to be approved.
